OUR WORLD
A creative retreat, expressed through nails.
Mano is rooted in the spirit of Omotenashi — the Japanese art of wholehearted hospitality — and Bayanihan — the Filipino tradition of collective unity and care.
More than a nail studio, we are a space where design meets care, and community shapes creativity. Every appointment is a chance to pause, express, and connect — transforming nails into art, ritual, and story. We believe nails are art, and art is community.
OUR CANVAS
At Mano, every detail matters.
Whether you’re drawn to a clean, polished finish or layered, design-forward art, we treat each set with the same care, precision, and intention.
We specialize in non-toxic, elevated nail care using Japanese soft gel — a system designed to protect and strengthen the natural nail while delivering long-lasting results.
We don’t offer acrylic, dip, or other harsh enhancements. Instead, we prioritize a healthy foundation so your nails stay strong beneath the polish or design.
For those seeking added length, we offer Après Gel-X extensions: a lightweight, non-toxic alternative that mimics the look and feel of natural nails. Whether you prefer a minimal look or intricate artistry, our system is designed to move with you — comfortable, durable, and expressive.
OUR ETHOS
We exist to reimagine nail culture — not as routine, but as ritual.
A space where design and hospitality meet, where artists are honored as designers and creativity is shared through community. We believe the nail industry can be one of integrity, innovation, and connection — built with aligned individuals who move with us in rhythm.
OUR LENS
We believe beauty isn’t extra — it’s essential.
Nails are not maintenance, but memory. A canvas of color, gloss, and texture where stories are carried, identities expressed, and rituals of care redefined.
We’re building a culture where creativity is shared, respect is standard, and the industry is seen for the artistry it truly is.
A NOTE FROM MONIQUE
I’ve always been drawn to the handmade — the care behind a perfectly placed detail, the way something crafted by hand can hold memory and meaning. Nails became one of my first creative rituals, a form of self-expression that has stayed with me ever since.
Trained in interior design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I’ve spent the last decade working across branding, spatial design, and creative direction in fashion, lifestyle, and real estate. Mano became the most personal extension of that lens — a space where all of those disciplines could live together.
Born in the Philippines and raised in New York, my aesthetic sits between structure and soul: clean lines layered with warmth, memory, and intention. The name Mano reflects that balance — both the hand itself and a Filipino gesture of care and respect.
Since opening in 2020, Mano has grown through collaboration, from creative partnerships with local brands to pop-ups with global ones. We’ve maintained an unwavering attention to detail and built a reputation for our distinct nail art aesthetic: translating inspiration into miniature, wearable works of art. It’s a continuation of the creative lens I’ve always trusted — thoughtful, story-driven design, made to be felt.
